The Instructors
Noemi DerzsyNoemi is a postdoctoral research associate at Social Cognitive Networks Academic Research Center at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She holds a PhD in Physics, and her research has comprised various complex system studies using social data sets to understand and model social behaviors. Throughout her research, she has been studying threat-reduction strategies and system vulnerability of infrastructure networks. Additionally, she has been applying Data Science and Machine Learning techniques to study controllability and influencing of complex systems with underlying network structure.
